My wedding preperation (^_^)

How to Organize my Wedding!!!

A Wedding Planner

The most tedious part of the wedding, more than the ceremony itself, is the preparation. So, to lessen your stress and to ensure that you and your partner can get hitched without a hitch, we’ve prepared a wedding planner for you. Check out our list and see how much you’ve already accomplished for your wedding.

12 months before

According to the experts, a year before your wedding is the perfect time to pick the date, decide the style and scale of the event, and work out a budget. After having done all that, it’s time to:

  • Make a reservation for your wedding and reception venues.
  • Hire a wedding consultant or coordinator (if you choose to get professional help).
  • Select the members of your entourage: your Principal/Secondary Sponsors, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids, Best Man.
  • Start looking for prospective caterers (if necessary), invitation printers, cake confectioners, florists, photographers, musicians and souvenir suppliers. Use www.kasal.com wedding resources directory to canvass for suppliers.
  • Find out the legal aspects and requirements of getting married.
  • Plan for your financial future. Discuss prenuptial agreements with each other.
  • And of course, last but not least, celebrate your engagement and announce it to family and friends! You may also announce your wedding for FREE over the Internet through www.kasal.com

6 to 9 months before

This is the time to book your wedding suppliers and start shopping for your wedding finery. Of course, you should have already decided on your color motif or theme. If ever you get tired of all the frantic activity, you can also start making your wedding wishlist and planning for your dream honeymoon!

  • Bride, choose a gown designer for yourself and your bridal entourage.
  • Groom, find a suit or barong.
  • Choose a person to officiate at the wedding whether a priest, pastor or judge.
  • Decide on the misalette's contents (if necessary). Write the marriage vows/ceremony and coordinate with your wedding officiator. You may use kasal.com's online wedding missalette.
  • Book your caterer, florist, photographer, musicians and make arrangements with them.
  • Determine the guest list and order invitations. Keep this list for future reference when sending thank-you notes to guests.
  • Shop together for your bridal registry.
  • Plan your honeymoon. Make arrangements with a travel agent especially if you're travelling outside the country.
  • Reserve a wedding night suite.

2 to 4 months before

Much of the preparation is done two to four months before the wedding so there is a LOT for you to accomplish. It’s now time to:

  • Buy your wedding rings.
  • Apply for your marriage license, attend the necessary seminars and submit all required documents to allow for processing time.
  • Make a schedule for pre-wedding affairs (whichever one you intend to have): a pamamanhikan (the formal meeting of the bride and groom's families), Despedida de Soltera, bridal shower or stag party. Make sure that you also reserve a date for the rehearsal and that you pay a courtesy call to your principal and secondary sponsors.
  • Book a hairdresser, make-up artist and order your bridal accessories.
  • Have both of your mothers and other significant wedding guests select and coordinate their attire.
  • Order your wedding cake.
  • Select and order souvenir items/give-aways.
  • Address the invitations.
  • If you need to, find persons for the following assignments: commentator/lector, readers, offertory participants, reception emcee, and attendants who will receive the gifts, have the guestbook signed and distribute the give-aways.
  • Get a physical exam.
  • Lastly, just in case you intend to move, start looking for your new home.

1 to 2 months ahead

Okay. So maybe your nerves are getting frayed. But, if you’ve carefully followed the previous steps then there’s no reason to panic. Just don’t forget to:

  • Send or deliver invitations four to six weeks before the ceremony.
  • Complete arrangements with the caterer, reception venue, florist, photographer, musicians, and wedding officiator.
  • Arrange for final fittings for bride's and attendants' gowns.
  • Send copies of the ceremony readings/misalette to wedding participants.
  • Finalize your honeymoon plans and reservations.
  • If necessary, arrange accommodations and transportation for out-of-town guests.
  • Buy gifts for your sponsors, entourage members and each other (if you are to exchange gifts).

2 to 6 weeks ahead

  • Make follow-up calls to guests who haven't RSVP'd so you can give a final head count to the caterer/hotel.
  • Pick up your marriage license.
  • Pick up EVERYTHING you need for your wedding day: wedding rings, attire, accessories, give-aways, etc.

1 to 2 weeks ahead

  • Finalize matters with the officiator, caterer, florist, reception venue management, DJ or band, and all others who play an active role in your wedding. Make sure you examine and cover ALL the details.
  • Give photographer/videographer the final list of pictures/shots you want taken.
  • Time for your wedding rehearsals, Despedida de Soltera or bridal shower. Whichever one you're having, make sure you go and enjoy!

The day before

At this point everything should be covered. Relax and pamper yourself! Go to a spa, get a massage or a manicure. Most important – get plenty of rest. You’d want to be glowing and refreshed on your wedding day.

The big day

  • Don't forget to eat something in the morning.
  • Bride, have your hair/makeup done about three hours before the ceremony. Start dressing at least one hour before.
  • Groom, give your best man the bride's wedding ring. Unless you've made other arrangements with your wedding officiator, put his fee in an envelope and give it to the best man to deliver after the ceremony. Don't forget to bring the marriage license!

After the wedding

  • Send the announcement and wedding photo to local newspapers.
  • Write and mail thank-you notes.
  • After all the bustle and hassle, you can now look forward to the future and plan a happy life together!

No no to wear shorts n slippers during wedding!!!

The event took place at Green Estate Pavillion Guiguinto Bulacan. Few guests attended maybe because of the bad weather condition. Bulacan is signal #2, typhoon Quiel is attacking North Luzon again.
The ceremony held at Balagtas church. My relatives were all fabulous wearing their beautiful gowns and barongs..
Some people are not conscious about their looks in attending a wedding occasion. They should be aware the wedding etiquette.Dress attire may be specified in the invitation. Guest shall pay attention and look at the details of the invite.I saw few guests wearing shorts and slippers..!!! parang nasa beach!!! wew!! and Ninongs n Ninangs left very early..grabe sila after their last bite..gora na ang mga thunders!!! wakosey!!! They should finish the occasion.

Foods are yumtous!!! sarap ng lengua ni Chef talaga!!! We want to get him but his set up is not quite attractive..kay bakler pa rin aketch!!!

Jhen my cousin is still young!!! just finished nursing recently..

I'm happy for her new career...

Losing weight is not that easy..promise

On my 5th day diet. I'm following the food selection of General Motors diet. Wow, it is not easy, because it takes a lot of courage and patience to do it. At first I need to convince my self that this diet will help me a lot to make me fit and healthy. I really appreciate my BF for supporting me. He bought a lot of fruits and vegies for me and even grilling the beef on time.

I want to be as radiant as a sun on my big day that's why I need to push my self hard to embrace this new system. I call it a routine..eating fresh fruits and leafy vegies.. I read that daily dairy is garbage and I believe so..this time I need to omit dairy products..whew!!! my first love is cheese and chocolates..my gosh. I need to put them on my enemy list.

The challenge for me is to finish this diet without "any daya". On my 1st day I felt like I'm living at Eden, fruit zone area, you wouldn't believe that I stand the situation of not eating carbo and protein for the whole day.

2nd day was a tough day, no fruits...more on green leafy vegies.wow..surviving!!! water water every hour.

My third day is pathetic..combination of fruits and vegies..hay..sana matapos na..

I had a diarrhea because of milk intake..gosh di me sanay sa milk--surviving for my 4th day. MILK and BANANA ..Then there is a soup that I made from cabbage, tomatoes, onions, tomato and celery. If you are desperate, then this is the last resort. Going on this diet plan one week in a month is good for the body as it washes away all the toxins and purifies your system.

Today is my beefy day and tomato day..no rice talaga. We went out for dinner and I ordered beef..oh di vah..pa beef beef na lang!!! hahaaah..

It sounds all faddy with some women but for me to see is to believe.

I've experienced light side effects like headache, being tired and some kinda sensitive but it's fine as long as I can see the results after 7 days.

Tomorrow is my 6th day..unlimited beef..wow baka mag bulalo kami ng honeybunch ko..

There's no harm in trying...wow losing weight is not that easy..promise!!!

Hash Brown Burger and Rowan Atskinson

It's Friday and time to enjoy. We watched the movie of Rowan Atskinson" Johnny English Reborn"- I'm recommending this comedy spy-thrilled movie my friends. LOL na LOL!!! He is so funny indeed. The real comedy movie you shouldn't miss!!! it is best to watch not only having popcorn with you but also eating the new hash brown burger from Jollibee..Try it!!

Movie Info

An unhinged parody of James Bond theatrics, Johnny English finds Mr. Bean himself suiting up as the eponymous super spy for a series of wild and silly adventures. A lowly pencil pusher working for the MI7 agency, Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) is suddenly promoted to super spy after Agent One is assassinated and every other agent is blown up at his funeral. When billionaire entrepreneur Pascal Sauvage (John Malkovich) sponsors the exhibition of the Crown Jewels and the valuable gems disappear on the opening night, and on the watch of English, the newly designated agent must jump into action to uncover the thief and procure the missing valuables. Tracking the thieves' underground escape route with sidekick Bough (Ben Miller), English locks in on Sauvage despite repeated assurances by boss Pegasus (Tim Pigott-Smith) that the respected entrepreneur has nothing to do with the crime. Could the mysterious Lorna (Natalie Imbruglia), who has an odd habit of turning up at the wrong place at the wrong time, hold the key to helping Johnny? A massive hit overseas, Johnny English held its own at the box office in early April 2003, and was slated for wide release in the U.S. If the spoofing in Johnny English strikes especially close to home, that may be because the film was scripted by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who teamed to pen such Bond adventures as Die Another Day and The World is Not Enough. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Consulting some experts

I went to different skin centers to inquire the latest trend in treating skin problem. I found out that there's a solution for the scar on my face. It's the new Derma roller. Mine is not that severe compare with the face of their existing customers. It's good that there's a solution.

I'm a bit crazy when I heard that per session is 15K..OOlalalala..wow ano bang karayom yan!!!! kikinis din ang bulsa ko ah..

My budget for my skin treatment is only 25-30k max only. Naku baka magalit ang hubby ko nito. When I mentioned to my baby about this matter he told me that I need it..don't worry about the money!!! Uy okay pla eh...

It's good to know that when availing the complete package I need to pay only 37,000..Good...if its per session it's 10-15K...

I will need full concentration if I'm going to avail it or not..too expensive for that treatment. hayyyyy....

I'm overloaded with mix emotions. My brunch is a surprise news from my gurlfriend..upon chewing the food I realized that there's an after taste. I'm happy for her new found love but sad because things happened so fast...OMG!! Can I have a pancake please??? with extra syrup??? whew :(

That's my FB status...i'm so totally sad for my friend's lovelife..again and again..she's living with a new guy without tying the knot. I mean the boy has a previous commitment and extra baggage (son) but my friend accepted him with open arms and open legs..oh is this really love???

I told her that I'm happy but sad because she is immoral again..I hope the guy fix his problem to be annulled asap.

My friend is terribly liberated, I hope that things will be okay.

Mother & daughter disappointed

I'm so disappointed with our business partner R.R, very awful day for me and honeybunch. Anyway bawi na lng next time. At first I was hesitant to go to KH for our weekday spiritual gathering that's why I prayed to Jah to give me wisdom and strength. My mom is so disappointed also for her performance on stage. She forgot her line during the play. Her partner was so nervous too. I helped out my mom to execute it properly but because of performance anxiety their play was a total disaster. It's not easy to overcome the performance anxiety or stage fright, my mom's voice was shaky, she was blushing and I guess her blood pressure increased.
Mom is so lonely that's why we went out for dinner. She ordered her favorite noodles-the pancit canton and mais con yielo to ease her loneliness.
Ayan masaya na ulit si mother on earth!!!

Daily dating with Shaun T.

I'm dating Shaun T every night OMG.

Yah it's a total body work out..and super sweat out toh. Would ya believe I lose 2 pounds na..I've done 4 sessions plang.

This is really a total weight lose, aha! I'm not eating pork, 3 spoons of rice during afternoon only and more on fruits plus H20. I hope I will be sexy on my W day

This is my daily commitment. I'm planning to try the Gen. Motor's diet. How I wish I can do it..the slimming coffee is next in line, after my cleansing I will drink the slimming Brazillian cooffee. thanks Ner
