CHILI con PUSA

I'm admiring mama for her new practice--collecting of plants, I've found out that she has a new plant- "The Chili Plant" aside from her fish collection, she is now indulged in collecting green plants... wow admittedly I like the idea of collecting--I remember my Lola Oneng, she was a typical plant lover, she was collecting different types of plants and flowers, we had orchids, santan, bougainvilla and many more..on a hot summer day nothing is more appealing than seeing those beautiful plants outside our terrace.. I miss my lola..If I could buy a time, I would rather choose gardening..

Well my mama explained that this plant is some kinda different, there are 4 colors of chilli.."oo nga"..Have you thought that chili plant can bring a lot of healthy benefits to us? I'm not a Bicolano but I go for food with a twist of spicy taste..I like mahanghang..maybe because it really awakens my appetite to eat and also to relieve congestion..hahaha..i feel better kasi I have allergic rhinitis..chili contains antibacterial properties that help fight chronic sinus infections. There are a lot of people is eating a chili pepper today, mainly because of their pungent flavor, that is, their peppery heat.I'm not eating naman "sili" directly..

Why chili peppers hot? This perceived heat is caused by a chemical called capsaicin. Capsaicin and other capsaicinoids, found mainly in the pepper’s fleshy tissue which holds the seeds , activates heat-sensation-related receptors in the mammalian nervous system. This results in the burning sensation and sometimes a subsequent inflammation response (tears, sweating, runny nose, redness), especially in mucous t
issue.

Creamcheese..cheking the chili plant...naku lagot ka..wag mo sisirain 'yong leaves ah..mama will get mad..just what you did before...you played with the leaves..
